I am passionate about the failures of family law to properly protect the children at the heart of every contact dispute.
I get great satisfaction from helping others navigate around the minefield that is family law and the family courts and helping them to resolve their problems, hopefully without even resorting to going to court.
I believe that the courts should always be the last resort as they have a habit of inflaming any situation before them. This is not necessarily the fault of the courts themselves but simply illustrates how unsuitable they are for resolving what are usually simple disagreements.
However, after exploring all the other options, it is sometimes necessary to accept that the courts are the only realistic option left. In these cases I like to think that I can give you advice that is as good as you will get anywhere.
